Before contacting France Guitare customer support

Before contacting customer support and writing to us, or asking a question over the phone, make sure that your question does not fall within the scope of requests that we cannot process. Subsequent requests will be ignored.

Before writing to us to ask a question!

  • Most technical or practical questions have an answer in our blog or in the "FAQ" area, or quite simply in the description sheets of the products presented on the site or on the manufacturer's site. Before any request for information, make the effort to check whether your question has not already been answered on the pages of the site or in the sheet of the product concerned;
  • If you have a question concerning parts sold on our site, please refer to the product description data sheet in order to carry out the necessary checks yourself. All the dimensions are indicated there, take your measurements and also consider that a luthier can modify and adapt the parts. Example: "Does the heel width of the neck you sell fit the X or Y guitar body I want to mount it on? Is the tremolo I want to buy the correct size? Do the X pickups sound good? ? etc." ;
  • Information about the dimensions of standard Fender parts will not be processed: a standard bridge remains a standard for a given model of guitar or bass, if the dimensions are not indicated, it means that the part is compatible with the series of the guitar model concerned, if your guitar is not a Fender series we will not have the answer to your question;
  • Questions that consist of verifying information published on an X or Y forum, requests for help, technical advice or information consisting in testing our skills or those of your usual luthier will not be answered: We are not a public service responsible for responding to all anonymous requests from visitors to our site. On the other hand you can consult our blog or the database of wiring diagrams of Fender guitars if it can help you to repair the electronics of your Fender;
  • We will not deal with any question based on totally subjective and sometimes unfounded judgment criteria, including by telephone. Questions such as: "Does a light guitar body sound better than a heavy body?", or "Which pickups do you recommend for me to have a blues sound?", "The ebony fingerboard is better than the rosewood?", "does ash sound better than alder", "a one-piece body is better than a two-piece body?", etc.... all these questions are based on personal judgment criteria and we do not wish to debate or argue on these subjects;
  • Requests for advice or information off topic with the products we sell: Franceguitare is not an assistance service or help in making the decision to purchase your equipment from a seller X or Y and again less an assistant to flush out a possible fraudulent sale on the boncoin and consorts. We are also not a free service to help people date and identify a Fender guitar , many articles are available on the internet to find the information yourself. These requests will not be handled as much over the phone as in writing;
  • Quotation requests will not be processed: we have developed this website for independent visitors who want to order the parts they need. We cannot place orders on behalf of site users, nor take online orders on behalf of buyers. On the other hand, we can modify and/or partially refund an order already confirmed;
  • Requests for advice on violin making or electronics prior to a purchase in our shop will not be processed: We are not intended to train Internet users or to transmit in a few seconds skills acquired over the years, including to potential buyers, nor to disseminate complex technical know-how. Furthermore, we do not wish to become the "pre-sales" service for our potential competitors, the majority of whom never waste a second of their time in technical assistance;
  • We are a reseller but not a distributor or manufacturer: to obtain documentation(s), first consult the official websites of the manufacturers (example: microphones, electronics, etc.). If you wish to contact a brand, please contact it directly or contact its legal distributor in your country.

Finally, be aware that informing a "customer" does not mean rendering a service to international or local and most often unfair competition!! If, like some of the minority, you are in need of free product information, without making the effort to search on Google and on forums dedicated to this purpose, that you do not speak English or that your only will and always to obtain the lowest prices at the expense of traders, know that we are not a public training or consulting service: We do not want your personal approach to be done to the detriment of our daily professional life. If we have spent weeks filling the pages of this site, it is to allow visitors to find out for themselves.

We invest our time in helping and advising our loyal customers, those who appreciate our work and make us live all year round. This message is for hunters of "good plans" (who will recognize themselves) and who will manage with "cheap" sellers who are generally miserly with honest and relevant advice. Thank you for your understanding and good visit...
