Before contacting France Guitare customer support

Before contacting customer support and writing to us, or asking a question over the phone, make sure that your question does not fall within the scope of requests that we will not be able to handle. Subsequent requests will be ignored.

Before writing to us to ask a question!

  • Most technical or practical questions have an answer in our blog or in the "FAQ" area, or quite simply in the description sheets of the products presented on the site or on the manufacturer's site. Before any request for information, make the effort to check if your question has not already been answered in the pages of the site or in the product sheet concerned;
  • If you have a question regarding parts sold on our site, please refer to the technical product description sheet in order to carry out the necessary checks yourself. All dimensions are indicated there, take your measurements and also consider that a luthier can modify and adapt the parts. Example: "Is the width of the neck heel you are selling suitable for the X or Y guitar body I want to mount it on? Is the tremolo I want to buy the right dimensions? Is the sound of the X pickups good? ? etc." ;
  • Information about the dimensions of Fender standard parts will not be processed: a standard bridge remains a standard for a given model of guitar or bass, if the dimensions are not indicated, this means that the part is compatible with the series of the guitar model concerned, if your guitar is not a Fender series we will not have the answer to your question;
  • Questions which consist of verifying information published on a forum public service responsible for responding to all anonymous requests from visitors to our site. On the other hand, you can consult our blog or the database of Fender guitar connection circuit diagrams if this can help you repair the electronics of your Fender;
  • We will not handle any questions based on completely subjective and sometimes unfounded judgment criteria, including by telephone. Questions like: “A light guitar body sounds better than a heavy body?”, or “Which microphones do you recommend for a blues sound?”, “The ebony fingerboard is better than the fingerboard. rosewood?", "ash sounds better than alder", "is a one-piece body better than a two-piece body?", etc.... all these questions are based on personal judgment criteria, or on complex technical knowledge and we do not wish to debate or polemicize on these subjects;
  • Requests for advice or information off topic with the products we market: Franceguitare is not an assistance service or help in making a decision to purchase your equipment from a seller X or Y and again least one assistant to flush out a possible fraudulent sale on leboncoin.fr and others. We are also not a free service responsible for helping people date and identify a Fender guitar , many articles are available on the internet to find the information yourself. These requests will not be handled as much over the telephone as in writing;
  • Quote requests will not be processed: we have developed this website for independent visitors wishing to order the parts they need. We cannot place orders on behalf of users of the site, nor take online orders on behalf of buyers. However, we can modify and/or partially refund an order already confirmed;
  • Requests for advice concerning violin making or electronics prior to a purchase in our store will not be processed: We do not intend to train Internet users or to transmit in a few seconds skills acquired over the years, including to potential buyers, nor to disseminate complex technical know-how. Furthermore, we do not wish to become the "pre-sales" service of our potential competitors, the majority of whom never waste a second of their time on technical assistance;
  • We are a reseller but not a distributor or manufacturer: to obtain documentation(s), first consult the official websites of the manufacturers (example: microphones, electronics, etc.). If you wish to contact a brand, please contact them directly or contact their legal distributor in your country.

Finally, know that informing a "customer" does not mean providing a service to international or local competition which is most often unfair!! If, like some of the minority, you are just curious and in need of free information on the products (and/or skills) without making the effort to document yourself, search on Google and in specialized forums, or that your sole desire and always to obtain the lowest prices to the detriment of traders, know that we are not a public training or advice service! No one calls their plumber to ask them how to repair a water leak or a broken boiler themselves! Remember this example before questioning us. If we spent months writing the pages of this site, it is to allow visitors to easily find the answers to their questions.

We invest our time in helping and advising our real customers, those who appreciate our products and make us work all year round. This message is aimed at "good deal" hunters (who will recognize themselves) and who will get by with "cheap" sellers who are generally stingy with honest and relevant advice. Thank you for your understanding and enjoy your visit.
