Fender Broadcaster Circuit Blend Reproduction Control Plate 1948/1950

Position 1 of the selector allows you to play with the pickup and add the neck pickup using the Blend potentiometer, position 2 allows you to have the neck pickup direct to the amp without adding tone, and the position 3 allows you to have the neck pickup with active condenser for round and very low sounds in loudness mode.

Fender Broadcaster Circuit Blend Control Plate Reproduction 1948/1950

  • USA chrome-plated brass plate compatible with any Telecaster, two nickel- chrome potentiometer knobs;
  • CRL 3-position selector - USA ;
  • vintage audio/log potentiometers CTS 1Meg, 500K or 250K, contact us according to the desired wiring plan;
  • Blender/Tone potentiometer 250K or 500k CTS of your choice;
  • vintage Fender capacitor reproduction Cornell Dubilier "Paper in Oil" (PIO) .05uf/150VDC, 15K resistor on the selector to switch the neck pickup to loudness;
  • vintage single-conductor copper circuit wiring, cotton sheath, female mono jack plug connected ready to screw;

An ideal plate for lovers of the Nocaster neck pickup sound but can also be mounted on a Keith Richards "Micawber" Telecaster only if mounting a vintage humbucker on the neck side with 500K volume.

Position No. 1 is excellent, thanks to the blend mode you have the 3 usual sounds of a Tele® plus the neck pickup alone without tone. The combination of the two pickups is very balanced and offers excellent playing power in positions 1 and 3, the neck pickup sound is excellent in overdrive.

Fender Broadcaster Nocaster 49/50 Control Plate

Delivered assembled pre-wired, all you have to do is solder your microphones. Plate delivered with two screws and connection plan. Can be adapted to almost all Telecaster models equipped with vintage pickups (photos for information only, plate with Telecaster Vintage USA dimensions).

This wiring circuit with 3-position selector allows you to obtain the following combinations:

  • Positions 1: Bridge bridge alone (bridge) but with neck pickup mixing option activated by the blend potentiometer, all without tone control;
  • Positions 2: neck pickup only live amplifier with blender potentiometer disabled and no tone control;
  • Positions 3: Neck neck alone with use of the tone linked to the activated PIO .05uf/150V capacitor. Blender mixing option disabled.
