Fender Telecaster® Tim Shaw Hot 50's Pickup Set pickups, pickups mounted on several limited series and Custom Shop, can be mounted on all body types Telecaster 50's and 60's, Standard USA , etc. Tim Shaw has slightly overwound these Telecaster® pickups to obtain a sound that has more body, but remains vintage .

The pickups are configured specifically according to their position on the instrument, they produce a remarkable sound that will delight modern guitarists. Whether you use them solo or together, they will give you the best possible performance.

Tim Shaw Hot 50's Fender Telecaster Pickups

The bridge pickup uses non-stepped Alnico 5 magnets and a Formvar winding wire, as well as a copper plate which allows you to find the traditional sound of the Tele® on the bridge side.

The neck pickup uses the same Alnico 5 magnets, but its winding wire is simply enameled AWG-43 type. Alnico 5 magnets produce a slightly denser and more precise sound than the Alnico 3 versions installed in Fender's first pickups. Their bright, fast attack is ideal for guitarists who shape their sound with effects pedals.
