Fender Telecaster® Tim Shaw Hot 50's Pickup Set, pickups fitted to several limited and Custom Shop series, can be fitted to all types of Telecaster bodies 50's and 60's, Standard USA , etc. Tim Shaw has slightly overwound these Telecaster® pickups in order to obtain a sound that has more body, but remains vintage .

The pickups are configured specifically for their position on the instrument, they produce a remarkable sound that will delight modern guitarists. Whether you use them solo or together, they will give you the best possible performance.

Tim Shaw Hot 50's Fender Telecaster Pickups

The bridge pickup uses single-stage Alnico 5 magnets and Formvar winding wire, along with a copper plate that delivers traditional Tele® sound on the bridge.

The neck pickup uses the same Alnico 5 magnets, but its wire is simply enameled AWG-43. The Alnico 5 magnets produce a slightly denser and more precise tone than the Alnico 3 versions installed in early Fender pickups. Their bright, fast attack is ideal for guitarists who shape their tone with effects pedals.
