Custom Shop Journey Man type pre-wired Stratocaster plate, American Vintage style pre-wired circuit from the 50's period. Explanation on the use of the tone saver: Treble bleed Tone Saver Fender PIO 250K , oiled paper capacitors (PIO) Fender Cornell Dubilier .1uf/150VDC white/blue and .05uf/150VDC. Default 250K vintage audio/log volume and standard 250K CTS USA vintage audio/log tone, 5-position CRL USA selector switch.

Fender Custom Shop Journey Man PIO Stratocaster Pre-Wired Plate

Plate initially mounted with the famous Josefina Tomatillo Fat 50's and Fat 60's pickups: Prewired circuit compatible with all sets of vintage Fender single-coil pickups or other brands of pickups offering a resistance of 5.5K to 6.7K.

Fender Stratocaster Custom Shop Journey Man wired plate features:

Audio/log volume 250K (or 500K of your choice, contact us before ordering for personalized assembly with the correct Tone Saver).

  • Two-tone CTS 250K vintage audio/log variation +/- 10% (mid-length socket), screw-in socket diameter, height 9.6mm;
  • General volume 250K audio/log and 2 tones in 250K vintage audio, tone 1 for the neck pickup , tone 2 only for the bridge pickup ;
  • Fender Tone Saver 250K special treble-bleed;
  • Fender repro style PIO capacitor Cornell Dubilier .1UF/150VDC on neck pickup tone and middle pickup ;
  • Fender repro style PIO capacitor Cornell Dubilier .05uf/150VDC bridge/bridge bridge pickup tone;
  • 5-position selector switch CRL USA vintage spring loaded, wired circuit single conductor copper wire 42AWG shielded sheath waxed braided cotton fabric push-back Celanese envelope;
  • Plate suitable for all single coil pickups type 57/62, Fat 50's and Fat 60's, Custom Shop 54, etc. Also suitable for all handmade vintage derivative single pickups;
  • Aluminum conductor/insulator mounting plate "Fender 57 assy shield" reference 001-9640-000.

A real Strat® plate, an identical reproduction of the plates mounted on the Custom Shop Journey Man 59, 62, 63 Stratocasters produced between 2019 and 2022, a classic circuit for Relic guitars from the Fender Custom Shop

real cool vintage vibe...

nice result with my texas special pickup set even if the volume falls quite quickly on the course, the precision of the tone is excellent with the tone saver, including on PIO caps for the bridge tone.
