Fender Stratocaster Fat 60's Custom Shop Pickup set : These pickups, as close as possible to the specifications of the 1960's production, are hand-built, overwound in the style of the famous original 59s fitted to SRV's number one.

They also offer sounds almost identical to the Big Dipper pickups installed on the John Mayer Stratocasters, these pickups give a powerful, clean, precise vintage sound in both clear and crunchy tones, punchy, round bass, and a mid-range that cuts into the fat.

Fender Stratocaster Fat 60's Custom Shop USA Pickups

  • Set of "single coil" pickups for Stratocaster type vintage early 60's, " vintage white " pickup covers. Fender Stratocaster Custom Shop USA Fat 60's Reissue pickups installed as standard on Strat type pre CBS 60's;
  • Certainly the most requested series of microphones at the moment to customize the sound of your stratocaster ;
  • Hand-chamfered Alnico 2 magnets, fine enameled copper cable, black fiber bobbin, waxed cotton-wrapped psuh-back connection wire, fitted as standard to Custom Shop 60s and Original Vintage 60s Stratocasters ;
  • The sound is warm, crispy and mellow in the treble and crunchy over a wide sound range as soon as you boost the volume, round and powerful bass without the aggressive mids, mid-mid middle pickup in reverse polarity as on many Custom Shop Strats, RW/RP "hum-cancelling", avoids the hum and buzz on the combinations of two pickups in parallel: the Blues has never sounded so good!! To try urgently without regret!

Set of pickups now installed as standard on several Custom Shop and FSR limited series Stratocasters since late 2018!!

  • Central medium microphone: N/S polarity reverse winding resistance 6.5 to 6.7K;
  • Neck pickup : S/N polarity Resistance 6.4 to 6.7K;
  • Supplied with 3 vintage white covers, 6 countersunk screws + latex springs for height adjustment;

    meilleur que les fat 50 à mon avis, fanchement, depuis les josefina et tomatillo je me rends compte que les fat 60 sont en fait des fat 50's améliorés, les qualité sont les mêmes avec bien plus de brillance et de clarté dans le middle range, et plus de sustain...

        A+++ excellent pickup set

        I can give an opinion compared to many other fender pickups, these give a very round and well-typed sound, with beautiful harmonics and superb clean sound. the overdrive sound has nothing to envy to the texas special and others, the bridge is superb and the neck pickup is made to be played with finger and it's perfect for me. THANKS

          on peut pas dire excellent mais on peut dire super bon

          super bon, son bien entre le texas special et le big dipper john mayer, on peut aussi trouver des rondeurs et des harmoniques communes aux micros 57/62, bref un set puissant qui pete bien mais assure le son clair aussi!

              perfect 60s sounding pickups

              sound perfect as the handwound pickups period 59/61, personally I find them better than the texas special for the blues and for the rhythm, it's shinny and bright sounding.
