• Fender® Custom Shop Strat® single coil vintage Reissue 69 pickup;
• Brilliant clear sound in the highs, with crystalline but pronounced mids, deep bass, rumbling in the bass. The magnets are non-chamfered but stepped Alnico V type radius 7.25" to 9.5" which reproduce the distinctive sound of vintage Strats from 1969;
• The imperfect winding uses fine enameled copper wire like a hair type AWG43, cotton-sheathed wiring wire, fiber coil and old-fashioned wax bath finish;
• Comes with screws and white cover. A sound standard on vintage Strats from the late 60s and 70s, fitted as standard on Nile Rodgers' "hitmaker" Strat as well as on the Jimi Hendrix Artist Strat.

An excellent pickup for Stratocaster to obtain a sound halfway between 57/62 and pure vintage 65, this pickup can be ideally placed in the neck or middle position but also in bridge. In the bridge position, you will need to pay attention to the power of the other microphones on your strat to avoid a noticeable drop in volume on a circuit with microphones in parallel.

• Very variable resistance on the production of these microphones since 2015: the microphones can vary in a complete set from 5.25K to 5.55K, polarity always in S/N for the 3 microphones.
• Mismatched microphone delivered with 2 mounting screws and two latex springs for height adjustment and glossy white pickup cover.
• Pickup removed from a complete set of three Fender Custom Shop CS 1969 pickups Fender reference 099-2114-001, the pickup comes reconditioned in a Fender® box.
