Seymour Duncan Antiquity 50's Texas Hot Stratocaster Pickups are individually aged cosmetically and magnetically to simulate the natural wear and tear of decades of loyal service. The realism of these reproductions results from several essential ingredients: aged hoods, specially calibrated blocks hand-aged to respect the fifties grain and a paraffin bath identical to that of the period.

The Antiquity Texas Hot Strat Set features a vintage -style black fiber coil, wound with 42 AWG enameled wire around Alnico2 rod magnets which gives that authentic shine, presence and vibrant overtones of vintage single-coil pickups.

The set of Seymour Duncan Stratocaster Antiquity 50's Texas Hot pickups leaves nothing to chance, every detail is carefully studied to reproduce the authentic grain of Strat® fifties that we usually only hear on original vintage instruments:

• neck pickup (ANT-STH) subtly demagnetized to reduce attack = 6.3K;
• middle pickup (ANT-STH RW/RP) reversed winding and polarity (N/S) for noise-free sound on intermediate positions 2 and 4 = 6.5K;
• bridge pickup (ANT-SCB) slightly overwound for perfect balance with the other positions = 8.8K to 9.8K
• vintage style cotton push-back 2-conductor output cables;
• Lacquer varnished coils and wax bath seals, used Aged Relic finish;
• Color of cream plastic covers Aged White;
• Phillips fixing screws and aged latex springs;
