• The Yosemite pickups are the same as those installed in the American Performer Strat®. Handmade pickup guru Mr. Tim Shaw designed these pickups for Fender using a proprietary blend of different types of Alnico magnets;
• Designed specifically for each switch position and delivering premium sound that modern players will love, the pickups in this set are calibrated to deliver the best performance whether used alone or in combination, parallel or in series. The set offers modern sounds but also vintage sounds depending on the tone setting;
• To bring out the musicality and tonal nuances of these pickups, Fender has used the inherent characteristics of various formulations of non-staged "flat pole" alnico magnets to create the best blend and balance along the neck of your Strat, in any position of the selector.

Features Fender Stratocaster Yosemite Pickups:

• Alnico 2 bridge pickup: Resistance between 8.6K and 8.9K depending on the set, N/S polarity, warm and strong, power and quality of a humbucker;
• Mid-range Alnico 4 pickup: 8.5K resistor S/N reverse winding polarity cancels hum when used in positions 2 or 4;
• Alnico 2 Neck Pickup: Resistance 7.7K to 7.9K S/N polarity, Alnico 2 brings the richness and clarity you expect from the neck pickup , roundness and warmth of the harmonics.
