Hepcat Stratocaster Vulture 1969 pickups set: set of high-end Strat® pickups made in France by enthusiasts, pickups wound to period specifications, hand-wound according to the original characteristics and some improvements that make the difference .

Hepcat Stratocaster Vulture 1969 pickups set reissue pickups have a more powerful bridge than the other two pickups, a middle pickup with reversed winding/polarity to avoid hum in position 2 and 4. Set delivered with mounting screws and latex springs. Replica of the first Strat® pickups from the 65-69 period, inspired by the pickups of John Mayer's original Strat. Compliant output level, slightly underwound pickups, very harmonic and slightly hollowed out in the mids, round and bright treble, a set suitable for effects pedals.

Hepcat Strat vulture pickups set late 60's

The 1969 Hepcat Stratocaster Vulture pickup set is hand wound with American 43 AWG “Vintage Formula” “Plain Enamel” enameled wire on a fiber spool. The pickup are finished in a wax/paraffin bath (waxpot), conventional 22-AMG coil lead wire, vintage waxed cotton push-back sheath, internal Celanese sheath.
