Set of Custom Shop Fat 50's Stratocaster pickups for vintage type Stratocaster 1957-1959, vintage white pickup covers. A Reissue series installed as standard on the pre-CBS 60's Strat type which offers a real qualitative and powerful vintage sound, clear and punchy. Certainly the most requested series of microphones for 10 years to customize the sound of your stratocaster . Handcrafted, Alnico V magnets, AWG42 winding, waxed cotton "push-back" lead wire, fitted as standard on Show Master Custom Shop Stratocasters.

Fender Stratocaster® Fat 50's Custom Shop Pickups

• Directly inspired by the pickups installed on the Strat series of 54 and 58 Reissue from the Custom shop ;
• Thicker winding uses very fine AWG42 type copper wire and an old-fashioned wax bath finish;
• Its warm, crisp in the treble and crunchy over a wide sound range as soon as the volume is boosted, round and powerful bass without the aggressive midrange;
• Mid-mid pickup in reverse polarity like on many Custom Shop Strats to avoid hum in position 2 and 4. As on Stevie Ray Vaughan's "number One", avoids hum and buzz, Blues has no never sounded so good!! To try urgently without regret!

Set of Fat 50's pickups installed as standard on American Standard Stratocasters from early 2012 until 2017 and on many Custom Shop Stratocasters with "No load" tone knob!!

• Bridge Pickup: 6.3K resistor to 6.5K S/N polarity;
• Mid-range RW/RP pickup: 6.2K to 6.4K resistor N/S polarity;
