• vintage Reissue '69 Fender® Custom Shop Strat® Single-Coil Pickup. Brilliant clean highs, crisp but pronounced mids, deep lows, booming lows. The magnets are non-chamfered but stepped Alnico V type radius 7.25 "to 9.5" which reproduce the sound so distinctive of the vintage Strat of 1969;
• The imperfect winding uses fine enamelled copper wire such as AWG43 type hair (cotton sheathed wiring, fiber coil) and old-fashioned wax bath finish. Supplied with screws and white cover. A sonic standard on late 60s and 70s vintage Strats, fitted as standard on Nile Rodgers' "hitmaker" Strat as well as Jimi Hendrix's Artist Strat.

An excellent pickup for Stratocaster to obtain a sound halfway between 57/62 and pure vintage 65, this pickup can be ideally placed in the neck or middle position but also in bridge. In bridge position it will be necessary to pay attention to the power of the other microphones of your strat in order to avoid a notable drop in volume on a circuit with microphones in parallel.

Very variable resistance on the production of these microphones since 2015: the microphones can vary in a game from 5.3K to 5.7K, polarity always in S/N.

Mismatched microphone delivered with 2 mounting screws and two latex springs for height adjustment and glossy white pickup cover.
