Reproduction of the pickups installed on the Strat® CBS from 1968, Alnico V magnets but a less expensive gray fiber coil specific to this year of production which offers this sound so clear and limpid in the treble, these pickups are better suited to chains of effects, offer crystalline mids but pronounced by beautiful harmonics, deep bass, roaring in the bass.

Fender Strat® Custom Shop '69 RW/RP Pickups

• Custom Shop Fender pickups with white pickup covers;
• Standard on the 1973 Strat® American Vintage II;
• Non-chamfered but stepped Alnico-5 magnets for 7.25" to 9.5" radius that reproduce the distinctive sound of Strats produced from 1969 through the mid-70s;
• Irregular winding with very fine AWG 43 copper wire (output wiring sheathed in push-back cotton, gray fiber coil) and old-fashioned "waxpot" wax bath finish.

• Bridge pickup medium resistance 5.5 to 5.8K;
• RW/RP resistor midrange pickup (winding and polarity reversed): 5.45K;
• Neck pickup resistance 5.45K.
